Today’s quick photo shoot really payed off. I decided I should try something more simple that captured the character’s facial expression and complimented the film in a more subtle way. I’ve included various shots that I am playing with at the moment. As always, let me know what you think.

Bobbie Calloway is my best friend…Now, don’t take that the wrong way! After following the entire shoot, I would like to pass along the following observations. (My qualifications for observations and /or constructive coments are: a drama teacher to middle school students as well as director of a major musical production each year of approximately 30 thirteen year old kids. Also, I was a member and producer of several productions for Community Players for 15 years. And… last , but not least, I am a product of the early years of television, as my father was senior project engineer for CBS Television Network in NewYork and helped to build Television City in Los Angeles.) Enough for the info. As Bobbie explained the story to me, my suggestion would be to use all three photos on a sequence. The first being # 2- titled questioning, The second #3- titled -angered frustration and the third #1- titled – despair.
I think you have great insight and keep up the great work you are doing!

Interesting observations, Jane. I have more that I’m working on, so developing a sequence of images would be a powerful and effective way of communicating the dynamics of the character. More on the way!

Hi Eric,
These 3 shots are incredidible.
They are so expressive & compelling!!!
They draw me in, evoking in me empathy for the character.
I feel concerned for her & I desire to learn more about her situation.
I am invested.
Those shots tell me there is a compelling story here
& I want to know what it is.
You hooked your audience.
That’s the effectiveness of those shots!!!!
Very artistic.
That is what a masterpiece painting does.

Congratulations to you & your Actress!!!!
Great work from your crew!!!!!
I am impressed & proud of you!!!!
